Rev. Carol A. Douglas
Rev. Carol Andrea Deborah Douglas is remembered most for her spirited praise and worship during AME conferences and district meetings. She is the youngest of 3 ordained preaching Douglas sisters, all in African Methodism. Rev. Carol acknowledged her call to preach in 2000, and was ordained in the AME Church at the 123rd Session of the Chicago Annual Conference in 2005. Her Christian service for God’s people spans 30 years, empowering women and mentoring youth. She is dedicated to serving her community through her work in social services in the Roseland Community in Chicago, reaching into Chicago Public Schools providing support and counseling for children and families. She also sits on the Executive Board of Local School Council at Percy Julian High School in Chicago.
Rev. Carol holds a Master’s degree in Education, and is the mother of two sons, Jared & Jordan.
