DuPage AME Church
Boy Scout Troop #263
"Some of us have been given special ability as apostles; to others He has given the gift
of being able to preach well; some have special ability in winning people to Christ, helping
them to trust Him as their Savior; still others have a gift for caring for God's people as a
shepherd does his sheep, leading and teaching them in the ways of God."
Ephesians 4:11 (Living Bible)
The Boy Scouts is a ministry in the AME Church reaching souls for Jesus Christ. Scouting can
promote the Allenite values of self-reliance, self-identity, self-help and self-development.
These values anchor us as we carry forward the never-ending task of teaching, and demonstrating,
the ways of our Lord in our church and community. Boys in the 6th through 12th grades (or ages
