BROTHERHOOD MEN’S CHORUS REHEARSAL—Calling all DuPage Men and Boys! The final tune up for the 5th Sunday Worship Service is Tuesday, April 24th, 7 pm. We will be serving at 8:15am Worship Service. All are welcome to join us in!

DuPage CARES GRIEF SUPPORT WORKSHOPMonday, April 30th, 7 pm in The Chapel. To provide grief education, understanding and support for the losses our souls.

CLASS LEADER COUNCIL ANNUAL FELLOWSHIP DINNERTuesday, May 1st at 6:30 pm a catered, full, soul food meal will be served and the Class Leader meeting will follow. Committees please be ready to report and let’s prepare for a God blessed annual day. All Class Leaders see you there!

DuPage is gearing up to participate in the 2018 BIBLE BOWL sponsored by the 4th Episcopal District of the AME Church. The theme is “WORD UP: God’s Plan for My Life.” The Chicago North District competition will take place on Saturday, June 23rd at St. Stephen AMEC in Chicago. The Episcopal District competition will take place during the Christian Education Congress at the Pheasant Run Resort in St. Charles, July 16-19.  Practice will begin on Saturday, May 12th, 1-3 pm in the Borrowed Tomb.  Please contact BJ Holt, Pam Jones, Betty Green or any Sunday School teacher if you are interested in this exciting, mind-boggling, spiritually uplifting competition.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED – REACH delivers a number of food boxes to the sick & shut-in monthly.  We are in need of additional volunteers to take on a delivery route of approximately ten boxes to families in the Bolingbrook area. The INTERCESSORY PRAYER MINISTRY invites all persons to join us for prayer an hour of prayer on Tuesdays at 7 pm in Classroom 3.  Prayer requests can also be placed in the prayer box in the narthex.

The DUPAGE THEATRE GROUP is an amazing ministry at DuPage AME Church! The vision for DTG is to bring people closer to Christ using the powerful ministry of theatrical arts. DTG is a group where you can express your Christian faith and proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ through plays and skits.  So whether you have prior stage experience or just a passionate desire to try your hand at acting, costuming, building sets or working as a member of the backstage crew, we heartily invite you to come join us and have some FUN!!! We will teach you what you need to know! Looking for a way to serve in God’s house? The DuPage USHER BOARD may be the place for you to serve one service per month! Monthly meetings are held in Fellowship Hall on 4th Saturdays at 9am. Training is available for future doorkeepers and God’s children of all ages are invited to join this ministry. The ANGEL CHURCH is a great place to make an immediate difference in the lives of our youngest members.Volunteers are needed for all services – especially at the 11:15 am Services. The INTERCESSORY PRAYER MINISTRY meets weekly at the church to stand in the gap and pray over your supplications and petitions to God. If you have a specific prayer request, please place them in the PRAYER BOX in the Narthex by the Cloud of Witnesses. The VOICES OF PRAISE Choir request the honor of your presence on Thursday nights at 7 pm. We invite you to come and join us as we sing GOD’S praises. The HOSPITALITY MINISTRY seeks volunteers to serve on Sundays. Volunteers serve one Sunday a month, at the service of your choice, and can volunteer for a variety of church programs as your schedule permits. If you’re interested please contact the church office.

BAPTISM CLASS – If you’ve never been baptized or have a child to be baptized you need to attend the Baptism Class, which is held every 3rd Sunday of the month at 10 am in the choir loft with Rev. Lana.
