Rev. Morgan E. Dixon

Rev. Morgan has been a member of DuPage AME Church since October 1989. Apart from the time spent in Atlanta, she has been active in many ministries. Presently she serves as Assistant Director of the Chancel Choir and one of the Youth Ministers to the over 300+ youth of DuPage. Rev. Morgan is the "Pastor" of 3D Youth Church every 3rd Sunday.

Outside of the local church, Rev. Morgan has served in many capacities for the Connectional AME Church and now serves on the National Council of Churches as a denominational representative.

Rev. Morgan preached her initial sermon and was licensed in 2006. She was ordained an Itinerant Elder in the African Methodist Episcopal Church at the 128th Session of the Chicago Annual Conference.

Professionally, Rev. Morgan serves as the Church Administrator for DuPage AME Church and is very instrumental in its day-to-day activities. She has earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music Education from Morris Brown College, a Master of Arts degree from Columbia College Chicago in Arts, Entertainment, & Media Management, and a Master of Divinity Degree at McCormick Theological Seminary.

Rev. Morgan is the eldest daughter of Rev. James & Rev. Lana Miller; sister of Jimal (Riché), Ashley, & Preston; and aunt to Peyton & Taylor. Rev. Morgan is a member of Delta Omicron International Professional Music Fraternity, Inc. and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc..

Throughout her life, Rev. Morgan has been continually blessed and recognizes God's hand in it all. Her life guiding scripture is taken from Luke 12:48, which reads, "To whom much is given, much is required."
